The place got crowded quick with lunchgoers, and that gave me a good vibe as to what I was in for. The atmosphere looked really fun, old school style stuff all around.
My friend immediately began to rant and rave about how packed it would get on the weekend, and normally he is a pretty straight shooter. He suggested the Blind Tiger, which I thought was a pretty cool name for a bar, so we met there when they opened at 11:00AM. I was in Topeka on business and I called one of my friends I knew who lived in the area to meet me for lunch, since I was out of my meeting around 10:45. We will be back as this is just a 3 hour drive from the house and will make it another weekend sometime. Ended up buying a couple of their glasses with their logo on them. They don't bottle their brew for sale outside their place, which is a real shame. They also sell growlers but didn't buy any. ALL good brews! Bought a couple of their glasses for the home bar. These were so good that I ended up trying another 2 sampler trays with the wife. Wow! Fantastic! Had the Java Porter, Stinger Honey Wheat, Tiger Paw Porter and the Raspberry Wheat. Since there were a good 10 different of their brews on tap, I decided to do a 4- 4 ounce glass sampler tray/flight.

Service was great and the waitress gave us a couple of free samples of their brews. Menu was really reasonable with a good selection and had 3 different appetizers, which all were good portions and tasty with all fresh local ingredients! Sat in the bar area as there were many children in the dinning area and not our style BUT ended up being the best move actually by far.
